Real projects, live in production

The challenge: Three defence-college libraries each ran their own catalogue, and beyond them lay a world of open-access research their readers could never reach from one place. A reader had to know which catalogue to search, with no single door to the wider scholarship on peace, security, defence and strategy. The libraries needed one search box that could reach everything at once, without merging or disrupting the individual catalogues.

The challenge: Ghanaian funeral brochures are rich, lovingly-researched life histories — names, hometowns, lineages and tributes — yet they survive only as fragile printed booklets that are read once and lost. There was no way to preserve them as national heritage, or to make them searchable, without compromising family privacy.

The challenge: Small Ghanaian shops and salons run on paper and memory — stock that's hard to track, credit owed that slips away, and no quick way to give a customer a receipt. Off-the-shelf POS software is expensive, desktop-bound and built for somewhere else.

The challenge: UENR's research repository ran on an ageing DSpace 7.6 instance hosted on a temporary domain, with no clear upgrade path. The university wanted it modernised to DSpace 8, rebranded in its own identity, and consolidated onto a single official domain — without losing a single item, file or existing link.

The challenge: Presbyterian University, Ghana needed an open-access home for its scholarship — theses, dissertations, journal articles and faculty research — on modern repository software, presented in the university's own navy & gold identity.

The challenge: The College library needed a modern, branded catalogue for its strategic-studies, security and defence collection — and an online information presence for readers, not just a desk service.

The challenge: Fanaka International College wanted a catalogue that didn't look like everyone else's — a warm, editorial, reading-room feel rather than a standard library template, while keeping every modern discovery feature.
